This weekend was another reminder of what makes Mount Vernon special ❤️

We were grateful to support a local effort led by Mersadys Mason — a local photographer and mom who somehow finds time to create the moments that matter both behind the lens and right here in our community. We even got to chat with her about this amazing initiative!

Mersadys has been leading a holiday meal project for families in need, and this year the community really came together. As the need keeps growing each year, volunteers showed up in a big way to cook, prep, and deliver meals. We were happy to provide food to keep everyone going while they worked.

A huge thank-you to all the volunteers who pitched in:
👉 Robin Stone, Jayce Robinson, Samantha Rohn, Connie McCormick, Alfred Mason, Samantha Hanks, and Mersadys Mason

You can also support the project by booking a Christmas Minis session ($150) through Mersadys’ business page, Mersadys Moments, LLC — 100% of session fees go toward providing meals for local families.
