Our Story

Like many immigrants who come to this country from all over the world, I came with hopes of opportunity and a better life for me and my Son Emilio. Like most immigrants do I had to work very hard to learn the language and prove myself at my various places of employment. I am very grateful for the opportunity and for freedoms like nowhere else! However, I had a bigger dream. A dream of owning my own small business in North Carolina and through exhaustive efforts, here we are! I want to thank all those who I came across that helped me make this possible! Like any other cuisine, there is an overwhelming amount of choices out there. So why choose ours? Plain and simple we only use fresh ingredients and serve authentic Mexican Cuisine. Our food comes from decades of family tradition and recipes from over the border. especially from my hometown Puebla Mexico! Our friends & family who love what we serve at home have insisted we need to share this food with the community. Our Mission

Our name Torres Taqueria is in honor of my Father Jose E. We will carry on the Torres name in style, integrity and passion just like my Father Did. Torres Taqueria is authentic Mexican cuisine founded on love and tradition; we are passionate in what we do , and are excited to share our traditional Mexican food with all in the Carolina Region. It is not about cooking food fast, it is about serving our customers delicious food to all who have a love for Mexican cuisine. Our goal is to serve you food that brings back family memories of your own! Our recipes are passed down from generation to generation and we are honored to share them with you! We are also passionate about our community and will lend support by contributing our time and our profits to make a better world for all. We are currently sponsoring a sweet young three year old female Sofia who lives in Mexico and we will be setting aside a portion of our proceeds to expand the number of children sponsored throughout the world.
