Today we celebrate Betty Lindsey, one of the founders of Wadeโ€™s and the heart behind so much of who we are. Her amazing recipes, caring spirit, and unwavering work ethic set the foundation for what has become a third-generation, family-owned Spartanburg institution โ€” 79 years strong.

It feels especially meaningful that Bettyโ€™s birthday falls in October, the same month many associate with Breast Cancer Awareness. This is the very disease that took Betty from us far too soon at the age of 55 โ€” but her legacy continues to inspire us every day.

In her honor, and in support of all those affected by breast cancer, Wadeโ€™s will be donating to the ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—”๐˜€๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ด & ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€.

HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY LOGAN! ๐ŸŽ‰Logan is an incredible asset to the Wade's team and a strong leader in our kitchen! As our Lead Kitchen Manager, he oversees daily operations, creates the BOH schedule, and helps ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. His knowledge of our kitchen, policies, and procedures is unmatched, and he's always willing to jump in wherever he's needed. A homegrown Wade's leader, Logan has quickly grown into his role through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. He leads by example, supports his team, and takes great pride in maintaining the standards that make Wade's special! He is a joy to be around with his quiet but quick wit! Outside of work, Logan enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends, as well as traveling whenever he gets the chance. We're grateful for everything Logan does and proud to have him as part of the Wade's family. Thank you, Logan, for your dedication, leadership, and positive impact every day!

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations on 5 years at Wadeโ€™s, Randy!

Randy is our Maintenance and Equipment Expert. For the past 5 years, he has been the guy we call when something needs repairing, troubleshooting, or figuring out! From major equipment issues to the little things that keep our restaurants running smoothly, Randy always finds a way to get the job done ๐Ÿ’ช And if he can't fix it, he knows someone who can! As a veteran, Randy brings dedication, dependability, and a servant's heart to everything he does. He never hesitates to drop what he's doing to help whenever and wherever he's needed. But what makes him truly special is the way he cares about people. He takes time to check in on team members, share a laugh, and build relationships throughout our restaurants.

Outside of work, Randy enjoys racing at the dirt track and spending time with his wife, Sheila. Around here, he's known as our "Mr. Fix-Itโ€ but he's so much more than that. He's a valued teammate, a trusted problem solver, and someone who helps make Wade's a better place every day.
