You’ve seen us talking about Stammtisch on the Square… but what exactly does Stammtisch mean?

In German-speaking culture, a Stammtisch is a regular gathering place where friends, neighbors, and familiar faces come together around a shared table for good drinks, good food, and even better conversation.

Think of it as the community table. 🍺

That’s exactly the spirit we’re bringing to Bürgtoberfest! On September 26, Morgan Square becomes one BIG Stammtisch — long community tables, German & Austrian food from Gerhard’s, Bavarian b**r, live music, Oktoberfest traditions, and plenty of room to make a few new friends along the way.

No invitation needed. Just pull up a chair. 🍻

This Friday, the 4th Annual Spartanburg Cocktail Masters takes over the Spartanburg Marriott, and Isla’s on the Square is bringing the heat. Patrick isn't just competing—he’s defending his crown after an absolute sweep last year, taking home the overall Cocktail Master, People’s Choice, AND Best Gin awards!

This year, he’s stepping up to the judges' table with a brand new masterpiece: The Elvis Margarita.

Expect live music, great food, and the absolute best of Spartanburg’s mixology scene under one roof. Come out, taste what Patrick has been working on, and help us cheer him on to another victory.
