My First Meal from Mom’s Kitchen 🇹🇭❤️

5:00 AM — Head Chef wakes up.
6:30 AM — Goes to the market.
7:30 AM — Cooking begins.
9:30 AM — FOOD IS FINALLY SERVED! 😂

👩‍🍳 Head Chef: 76 years old
👵 Assistant Chef: 86 years old

Total kitchen time: 2 hours
Actual cooking time: 30 minutes
Looking for the knife: 1.5 hours 🤣
“Where did I put the garlic?” — another 15 minutes.
“Who moved my bowl?” — nobody. She moved it. 😂
And every 10 minutes: “Wait… what was I doing?”

After all that hard work, today’s production:

🥬 1 plate of vegetables
🌶️ 1 bowl of fish chili dip
🍚 1 bowl of rice
🐟 1 grilled fish

As a restaurant owner, I reviewed their operation…

Food cost: Unknown.
Labor cost: DON’T ASK.
Ticket time: 2 HOURS.
Efficiency: 0%.
Taste: 100%. ❤️

Thank God Chef Ae didn’t inherit Mom’s kitchen-speed DNA…

Chef Ae would’ve been out of business 10 years ago! 😂😂😂

But seriously, this was the best meal — because it was the first meal my mom made for me after I came home to Thailand. ❤️🇹🇭

After a very long journey… I finally made it home! ❤️

One month away from the restaurant, good food, family time, rest, and recharging Chef Ae’s battery. 😂

One last day of cooking, laughing, and making memories with my amazing customers before Chef Ae takes off to Thailand for a much-needed vacation!

Before I leave, I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me, my team, and my little restaurant. You are more than customers — you are part of my Chef Ae family. ❤️

Come see me today! One last hug, one last laugh, and of course, one last delicious meal before I disappear for a month! 😂
