🌟 SHINE TIME SPOTLIGHT 🌟
Meet Cherry and Sherry Wilmore, identical twin sisters who grew up in the Louisiana foster care system.

After spending 12 years in care, they turned their adversity into advocacy by founding CHeriSH Times Two, a nonprofit that donates laptops to college-bound foster youth

THEIR CHILDHOOD STORY: Cherry and Sherry entered the foster system at six years old. Though they were occasionally in group homes and at one point separated due to social workers' concerns about their strong codependency, they spent the majority of their childhood years living with two loving foster families. They were never formally adopted, but they often credit their foster families with laying a strong foundation for them.

TURNING PAIN INTO PURPOSE: As adults, the sisters decided to pay their positive experiences forward. They launched their nonprofit, CHeriSH Times Two, with a mission to help foster youth transition into adulthood. Their work includes donating laptops to college-bound foster care kids to give them a technological and educational boost and help them succeed beyond the constraints of the system.

Giving Back Through CHeriSH Times Two Now recognized as community pillars and advocates, they run their own nonprofit, CHeriSH Times Two.

PUBLIC RECOGNITION: Their inspirational story of resilience has gained national attention, leading to features on programs like CBS Mornings and The Jennifer Hudson Show.
