To our Cork Family, YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST! ❤️🍻
Yesterday, you came out to celebrate one year of great pours with us. And while the pours are great, what we heard over and over and over again was that so many of you have found your third place at The Cork. You’ve made new friends, built relationships, and found a sense of community. And despite the rain and downright gross weather, you showed up anyway!
Before we ever opened our doors, Andy and I talked about what we wanted The Beerded Cork to be. We even tossed around the tagline, “Where friends and neighbors gather.” And one year later, hearing so many of you describe The Cork as exactly that is pretty incredible.
What we didn’t anticipate was just how fulfilling it would be to serve our community or the incredible relationships WE would gain along the way. People who walked through our doors as strangers have become some of our dearest friends. We knew we wanted to create a place where people could connect, but we had no idea how many meaningful connections we’d make ourselves. And that has been one of the greatest gifts of this whole adventure.
Our first year has surpassed every expectation we had, and that is because of all of YOU. You’ve made this little taproom so much more than a place to grab a drink.
We are so grateful to you all, more than you could ever know. Thank you for showing up, for supporting us, and for making The Cork everything we hoped it would be and so much more.
