On the newsfront... Military Order of the Cootie elected Tracy Woodman as the 2026-2027 Supreme Seam Squirrel (National Commander). She moved up early due to the death of the 2025-2026 Commander Eric Bell in January. Instead of changing the programs and officers/chairman, chose to keep all remaining in his honor and dedicating this convention in his memory as well as the Supreme MOCA President who also passed away in November.

It is with deep sadness that we share with you the passing of DeWitt 'Woody' Woodworth (Past Department Commander, Past District Commander, Pup Tent 21 Member) early this morning.

There will be an Honor Es**rt at the Tomah VA this morning (2 July 2026) at 1100 hrs in Building 402 by the canopy/roundabout door.

Thank you Patricia Hagen and Joyce Henry for placing a wreath at the grave of unknown soldier for the VFW 2112 Auxilary. This has been a tradition for many decades that we are happy to say is continuing.

Boy Scout Troop #68 Maxwell Russell addresses the post members about his upcoming Eagle Scout Project to put Recycling Bins out at Pineview Campground. Total project will cost $3000. Donations accepted and can be made to Troop #68.
