🎡 THIS WEEK AT TRAILHEAD: OFF THE MIDWAY MENU! 🎡

We’re spending the week out at the White County Fair, but that doesn’t mean you have to hit the midway to get your fair-food fix.

We didn’t want to serve the exact same menu in both places, so back at Trailhead we took some of that Fair inspiration, gave it a few twists, and brought out a couple things that didn’t make it onto our Fair menu.

🔥 THE DIRTY SOUTH
1/4 lb. Smoked Bologna, Memphis-style Pulled Pork, House Pimiento Cheese & TN Honey on a Martin’s Potato Roll.

And that case of Martin’s Potato Rolls in the picture? They’re about to be put to VERY good use.

👀 MEET THE DIRTY SOUTH.

1/4 lb. Smoked Bologna piled with Memphis-style Pulled Pork, Housemade Pimiento Cheese & TN Honey on a Martin's Martin's Potato Rolls

This was actually one of the signature sandwiches we planned to bring to the White County Fair this year. But when you’re putting together a Fair menu with a bunch of other great food vendors, sometimes there are already a few similar items being served — and we didn’t want to overlap too much.

Unfortunately, that meant The Dirty South didn’t make the cut this year.

We’re hoping to remedy that next year, because this sandwich BELONGS at the Fair.

And after bringing home Best Fair Food: Off the Hook for the Chocolate Frozen Cheesecake, we probably shouldn’t make any wild claims about what The Dirty South could’ve done in competition...

So we’re NOT saying it would’ve won an award.

We’re just saying...

It definitely would’ve won an award. 🏆😂

For now, you don’t have to wait until next year to try it. The Dirty South is hitting Trailhead Grub THIS WEEK as part of our "Off the Midway" Specials!

🏆🍫 WE WON BEST FAIR FOOD!!! 🍫🏆

Our Chocolate Dipped Frozen Cheesecake officially took home:

🎣 “OFF THE HOOK” WINNER!

We knew we liked this thing… but apparently the judges did too. 😂

Chocolate-dipped, frozen cheesecake on a stick — because if you’re going to the fair, you might as well fully commit to the experience. 🍫🍰🎡

What an AWESOME way to cap off our first weekend at the White County Fair! The weather was absolutely perfect, we had a blast serving everybody, and now we get to come home with a little hardware too. 🏆

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, stopped by the Trailhead booth, tried our food, and supported us this weekend. Y’all made it a good one!

And we’re just getting started…
