Howdy, White Deer BBQ community, friends, and family! It's Carlos "Chubs", your trusty pitmaster, coming to you after an unexpected but incredible hiatus. 🎉

Today, I bring you far more delightful news than a fresh batch of our secret sauce ribs. Lia, my love, and I began an exciting new journey seven days ago. We welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Leo Kondos Davidson, who tipped the scales at 7.11 lbs and measured 19.75". His dark blue eyes and brown hair have us wrapped around his little finger already!

During the last few ultrasounds, we saw Leo with his hand on his face, just like his mother does when she sleeps. Now that he's here, and we see him mirror this mannerism as we tuck him in, it just melts our hearts. Seeing a reflection of ourselves in him is an indescribable joy.

The past week has been a whirlwind of emotions—thrill, joy, endless love, and a dash of delightful chaos. If you've noticed the smoke from our pit going MIA or fewer posts on your feed, it's because Lia and I have been immersed in this magical world of parenthood.

Changes to our BBQ Schedule:

-For the next four weeks, we'll be open only on Fridays from 2 pm to 5 pm.
-On Saturdays, we'll be serving you by appointment only.
-Our smoker will be smokin' over the Labor Day weekend.
-Given the limited hours, we highly recommend pre-orders

We're incredibly grateful for your understanding and patience as we juggle between tending the pit and the cradle. We're excited to introduce little Leo to our extended White Deer BBQ family in due course. In the meantime, savor your peaceful nights because our little Leo has a promising future as a lead vocalist with The Benjamin’s —your peaceful evenings may be numbered! 😉

Howdy friends, family, and loyal White Deer BBQ Lovers!🎉

Big news! Lia and I have embarked on a new adventure as proud parents. We welcomed our baby boy, Leo Kondos Davidson, into the world on July 29th, at 10:52 am weighing 7.11 lbs, 19.75", with dark blue eyes and brown hair.

The excitement of this new chapter is only matched by the overwhelming love and support you've shown us. We are taking a brief pause from the smoker this weekend, trading in BBQ aprons for baby onesies.

But fear not, BBQ enthusiasts. We will be back with our secret sauce and juicy ribs on the weekend of August 10th & 11th. The 12th and the following weekend are booked, but reach out ASAP for Oktoberfest bookings because slots are filling up fast.

Thanks for understanding as we navigate sleepless nights, endless diapers, and the pure joy of parenting. We can't wait to introduce Leo to our BBQ family. Enjoy the quiet while it lasts, because Leo's future drumming career starts soon - consider yourself warned! 😉

Just a quick heads up, this week, we're taking a little break from the weekend hustle to focus on some personal joy. So we won't be open this weekend.

Some say change is the spice of life. We say, spice is life, but change? Well, that's the secret sauce! 😉

First off, don't freak out when you don't see the smoke clouds at our old spot! We've packed up Black Betty and moved to a new location! (Don't worry, we remembered the sauce!) You'll now find us and our smoky delights at our new BBQ haven, the VFW Post 7248 at 66 Main St.🔥📍

And here's the BIG sizzler...🥁 We've joined forces with the heroic VFW to launch Friday Night BBQs! 🎉

Why? Because everyone deserves a slab of our famous ribs, especially when it's helping out the wonderful kids at the VFW Children's Homes!

So, roll up your sleeves and loosen those belts this Friday for our brisket, legendary pork ribs, and special - smoked chopped chicken tacos. Warning - they’re not your 'average' tacos! 🌮 They're a full-fledged fiesta in your mouth! 🎉
