Well, here it goes. It is with great apprehension that I let you know our boy is scheduled for his second open-heart surgery… in California. There is so much riding on this and numerous moving parts, but it has been scheduled and if he is healthy enough, which is he, no fever, no cough and no runny nose, we will be headed out and on our way.

We will be flying to California to meet with one of the world’s top surgeons who not only pioneered the type of surgery my son needs, but will be the one performing it. We are very grateful for today’s technology and astounding advances in the medical field.

We are also very grateful for the Farmers’ Market community and you. The positivity and strength from all our family members and friends will get us through.

Please keep our guy in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻❤️
