We can't wait to greet the Mount Desert Island Marathon runners as they cross the finish line, then grab a frosty cold b**r from Fogtown Brewing Company and a pleuthera of amazing local food vendor choices, as we rock out to live bands and celebrate this awesome Island wide weekend event!

Calling all teams, groups, and enthusiastic humans: Mile 25 needs YOU! 🏃💧

We’re looking for volunteers to run the last water station on the MDI Marathon route on Sunday, October 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You’ll find mile marker 25 right in front of Golf of Maine at 55 Main Street, Southwest Harbor.

We provide the tables, water, and cups. You bring the positive energy! Signs, , musical instruments, and speakers are encouraged, but cheering loudly is plenty.

By Mile 25, runners are very happy to see a cup of water—and even happier to hear they’re almost done. Grab your team and come be their favorite people on the course! Message us if you’d like to take the station. Mount Desert Island Marathon Golf of Maine Acadia Chamber

We’re moving into the quieter season, and what a great season we’ve had! Thank you to all our customers and new friends who stopped by to play a round. There’s still plenty of fun ahead—and we might have a few fall surprises, so stay tuned! 👀

Now that that's out of the way I am giving away a mini bonefish and all you have to do is be the person who guesses the closest number to the actual dollar amount in the change jar! It is full and it weighs 13.4 lb, not that any of that is going to remotely help you get close but good luck anyways!
I will be letting this run through until Sunday evening at which time I will announce a winner. And this is not like the Price is Right where if you go over you're eliminated the closest higher or lower will be crowned give away champion!

Bright and early with the Beal’s Lobster Pier crew! 🦞☀️

They joined us for breakfast and a crew party, bringing their usual smiles, cheerful energy, and plenty of laughs. They are always such a pleasant group to have around!
