T Note: Mint Simple syrup - 2 cups of water. 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup packed mint leaves. Heat sugar and water over high heat, stirring constantly until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, add mint leaves, stir and cover, let sit at room temperature for two hours. Strain mint leaves before use. You can replace the mint leaves with any other mint, or herbs. You can even change the sugar for honey. Use the syrup for cocktails or mocktails.

T Note: Tradition Brings Solace - Need order in a chaotic world? Here's a simple way to do it. Plan for 15 minutes a day of peace. Shut out the world and go through the steps of making a pot of tea. Pour tea into your favorite cup. Grab some inspirational reading and sip some tea. Breathe in, Breathe out. Think about what you have read. Doing this on a regular creates a tradition. Not to mention peace of mind!

T-Note: Why host a Tea Party? You can make a difference - If you think you are tired, you can be sure there is someone else even worse off than you! Hosting a simple tea party can refresh a weary soul. The simple act of hospitality can change lives and lift someone out of their suffering. (If only for a few moments.) In addition, focusing on someone else will lift your spirit as well.
