You probably haven’t seen this due to the National Weather Service outage, but the Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been extended to include all of Eastern/ Coastal NC until 10PM. The main risk is scattered strong-to-severe storms with damaging winds and some hail. The Watch to the west remains in effect for Central and Western NC until 8PM.

I’ll continue to do my best to provide updates with the limited information we have from the National Weather Service until further notice due to a widespread warning and watch outage.
