We do have a few extra copies of the cookbook, not a lot, but a few so if you want to get one please SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE and I’ll take your order until they are gone. They are $25. Please be patient I will not be able to respond quickly. If you have received your cookbook please find the macaroni salad recipe on page 30-31 and write down 3 cups of elbow pasta, myself and the proof readers kinda missed that part, sorry!! We do not plan on doing another order so when these copies are gone they’re gone.

If your payment was received by yesterday (Thursday 9/1) then your cookbook was mailed this morning. Shipping takes approximately 3 business days with Monday being a holiday sooooooooo please be patient as it comes to you. We are provided a tracking number for every package so if you do not have your cookbook by September 15th please let us know, that’s a couple of days added just because. A huge thank you to First Instant Printing in Sherman for going above and beyond to help make these cookbooks come to your dinner table. Another huge thank you to the women working at the Whitesboro Post Office, they need a raise with how gracious they are while dealing with rude customers. Sorry, but I don’t miss that part at all. And our biggest thanks goes to everyone who bought a Z👀kb👀k from our crazy zoo. We didn’t think this process would be this much work but we are so thankful to all who supported our family one last time. We hope you enjoy many great meals with your family… just remember to let us know what time we need to be there for dinner, what’s the special and by golly where you’re located at… sorry, I couldn’t help it… if you know, you know 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣
My last words I’ve spent too many years saying because they are near and dear to my heart and now we will no longer say them in reference to our own place…. So one last time… Please support your local mom and pop places, it’s not a chain place with a CEO sitting behind a desk making millions… it’s a family working extremely hard day and night to pay for school supplies and groceries. They simply need you and please, for the love of a great chicken fried steak… please remember to always be kind.

Our cookbook order closes today at 5pm.
We will not have any left after today.
We will not have another order after today.
If you have placed your order with us then your cookbook will be mailed out by the end of the week. Saturday at the latest. Some people who are at the top of the order will receive their cookbooks first as we had some from the first order that have already mailed out. We picked up more copies Friday and they will be sent out Monday. The last section will be picked up Thursday and mailed out as soon as we get them all in envelopes. Again, Saturday at the latest. Shipping does take 3 business days to get to you. Thank you so much to everyone who ordered a cookbook from us, we greatly appreciate you!!

Our cookbook includes every recipe we used in the restaurant, from chicken fried steak, glazed carrots, spaghetti, desserts, burgers and everything all the way to our homemade sauces. Each recipe comes with simple and easy directions so everyone can master each dish.

I can officially say ALL the cookbooks have been mailed out as of today!! Shipping takes approximately 3 business days so you should each have it in time to make something for dinner, or dessert, next week!! For our very last Friday we have added some favorites back to the buffet here’s our weekend menu…

FRIDAY- buffet 11-1:45pm & 4:30-7:30pm- catfish, hand breaded chicken fried steak, Cajun chicken and rice, popcorn shrimp, stuffed deviled crabhush puppies, veggies & salad bar $14.99, salad bar by itself $7.99 and it’s available all day and can be paired with any burger, sandwich or dinner on our regular menu that is also available all day. Today’s homemade desserts are banana pudding and Carmel apple cobbler.

SATURDAY- breakfast buffet and menu served 8am-10:30am. Lunch is served 11am-1:30pm. It is the only day we don’t have a buffet but it’s also the only day we DO have our hand breaded onion rings.

SUNDAY- breakfast 8-10am, buffet $12.99. Lunch buffet 11-1:30pm- hand breaded chicken fried steak, fried chicken and dressing, spaghetti, veggies, salad bar & cornbread $13.99.
