Originally from San Vito, Italy, Chef Raffaele Gironda has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the country including locations such as New York, Kansas City and Boca Raton, Florida. Raffaele and his wife Lucy realized their dream of owning their own business when they moved to Southern Pines in 1980 and opened a restaurant of their own. Offering homemade Itali

an classics such as Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan, as well as one of a kind specials created by Chef Raffaele such as Rib-Eye Peperonata and Donna's Chicken. In addition to his skills as a chef, Raffaele is also an accomplished woodworker and a truly unique character (as those who have met him will attest!) Raffaele's woodworking is proudly on display at the restaurant and he's always available for a chat!

Ever wanted to camp out, but don’t want to go very far? Join us for a campout under the stars at Downtown Park! Enjoy family games, snacks, fun, and a story by the campfire! Must provide your own tent. Space is limited to the first 20 families.
Fri | May 19 | Check-in at 7 pm | Cleaned up by 8 am Saturday morning.
Location: Downtown Park
Fees: $10 R family | $14 NR family
