They say... With all good things, there must a time for all to good things to come to an end. And I am both sad and yet happy to say… A few months ago, I sold the Ice Cream Trailer to a wonderful young lady. Who has made the decision to keep the Ice Cream Trailer operating in the Village of South Wayne. Her name is Elizabeth Dearing, and I’m hoping you will give her the same wonderful and gracious support you have shown us over the years.
The decision to sell the ice cream trailer was not easy to make. Unfortunately, knowing... I would not be able to physically operate it for another season. The decision was made for me.
I will miss you all very much, and I wish you all the very best...

We want to thank everyone who came out for our final day yesterday. Your outpouring of support has truly touched our hearts. I, for one, will never forget the level of love, compassion, heartwarming words of encouragement, Tears, and support from all of you. I will carry those memories with me and hold them dear, for they will be my anchor and support. I feel truly blessed! Thank You!!

To the Shake It Up! community and followers, it is with a heavy heart I share the news that Shake It Up! ice cream trailer will be closing on Saturday, June 15th. It’s been an incredible ride, with moments of joy, excitement, seemingly insurmountable odds, and invaluable learning.
To gift certificate holders unable to redeem on or before our closing date, please reach out to me so we may honor them in some other fashion.
To our customers and supporters: THANK YOU! Your belief and trust in us have been the driving force behind every step we have taken. However, uncontrollable circumstances are demanding we recognize the time has come to slow down and step away.
I have thought long and hard about how I would explain the reason for our closing. Sharing this was not an easy decision to make, but I realized I needed to "grab the bull by the horns” and be truthful with each of you. Two years ago, as some of you know, I received my first diagnosis of breast cancer. Approximately 2 months ago, I received my second diagnosis. This more invasive form of breast cancer requires me to take a big step back, not continue at the speed to which I am naturally accustomed too, and concentrate on what is important. I am not telling you this to garner sympathy but to be upfront and honest.
To my family and friends who have become family, I thank you for your support, your encouragement, and for being there when it counted (i.e. Equipment malfunctions, computer issues/ FB, accounting/ bookkeeping and so much more)!! You are the BEST!
I would be remiss if I didn’t take this time to give a big appreciative shout-out to Ray Voltz for all the time and effort he has put into Shake It Up. He's given much of his time to assist in our success. Thank you, Ray.
I would also like to give a big "thank you" to the Village of South Wayne for allowing us to serve you and the surrounding communities.
I enjoyed my time with all of you, seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and being allowed to be a part of your lives.
Again…. THANK YOU for all the blessings!
