In French, the word palmier (pronounced pal-myay) translates to two distinct things depending on the context: a palm tree (as a noun) or a palmier pastry (a sweet, butterfly-shaped French cookie).

Here at Cécile Bakery+Cafe we bake the latter. A sweet, crispy cookie made of puff pastry rolled in sugar and baked until caramelized. With love.❤️
