33 YEARS. Still here.
This is my good friend Brian Russell. He was one of my first employees when I opened Alekos 33 years ago.
Back then Brian told me straight up: “You’ll never make it in the restaurant business. Most restaurants fail after a couple years.”
Well… look who showed up this past Saturday for our 33 year anniversary.
Maybe to eat his words, lol. Definitely to eat the lasagna, Greek salad, and breadsticks.
Brian, I love you brother. Thanks for being there on day one, and for coming back 33 years later. I proved you wrong, and I’m glad you’re still around to see it.
