These aren’t just words on a mural—they’re the spirit of Houston Chinatown.
This beautiful new landmark reminds us that no matter where we come from, what language we speak, or what culture we call our own, there is always a place for us at the table.
We are incredibly grateful to the talented artists, Gonzo247 and the young artists from Taiwan who traveled all the way to Houston, for bringing this vision to life under the Texas summer heat. Their dedication has created a lasting symbol of unity, friendship, and belonging. A heartfelt thank you to Southwest Management District, Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Houston, Greatland and all the organizers and supporters Volunteers who made this project possible.
Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have called Houston Chinatown home for years, we hope this mural reminds you that you belong here.
