The Paddle is a special little award-winning bistro nestled in the beautiful Lake Champlain Islands of Vermont.

Home of The Paddle Pups, during the summer we are dog-friendly for our outdoor diners. During the winter months, we are closed SUNDAYS - TUESDAYS but would be thrilled to offer our three rooms for private dining parties. Let us be your place! Birthdays Parties, Holiday Get-Togethers, Retirement Celebrations, Secret Santa Exchanges ... the list is endless! Just call Mandy @ 802-372-4814

For years, the Blue Paddle Bistro has been more than just a restaurant to us—it has been a place filled with wonderful meals, special occasions, laughter, and memories. Mandy Hotchkiss, we have truly cherished every visit and the incredible food, hospitality, and warmth you have shared with our family over the years.
We are so sad to see you closing, but incredibly grateful for all the memories you’ve given us. Thank you to the entire Blue Paddle Bistro family for making every visit special. You will be deeply missed, and we wish you nothing but happiness and success in whatever comes next. ❤️

A Brief Heartfelt Message to All of You:

As you may have heard, the Blue Paddle Bistro has closed. After 21-plus years, we experienced a perfect storm of circumstances that caused us to come to the difficult decision to end our beloved business. Thank you all for your support. We will truly miss all our friends - YOU - who have been so loyal and enthusiastic about The Paddle.

Thank you for thousands of hugs over the years. When the dust settles a bit, I'll write a little more. Please know that we will miss you so much ...
