We don’t always have coffee, which confuses some because we call ourselves a “cafe.” At The Hive Cafe, the “cafe” part is a nod to the guys who owned the business that inspired this one. The Accidental Farmer Cafe (although they didn’t usually have coffee either, but we digress. 😂) Anyway…when we do make coffee, it’s brewed right here on the cast iron grill top in Dorothy Mae’s percolator. (She was Julia’s husband’s grandmother.) It’s strong, and we have milk and/or sugar to mellow it a bit. So if you’re in the area and need a pick-me-up, stop by for a $2 cup. And be sure to get a burger while you’re here. We’re especially good at those. ☕️🐝🍔
