Well, friends... I have some not-so-sweet news. 💔

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to cancel this weekend's BittyCakes porch pop-up.

Our air conditioner decided this was the perfect time to call it quits, and even with our window units working overtime, it's just too hot for me to safely bake everything with this heat wave.

I'm so disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing all of you, but I'd rather postpone than risk the quality of your treats (or become a melted puddle in my kitchen 😅).

Thank you so much for always understanding and supporting my little bakery. I'll keep you posted on the AC situation and let you know as soon as we're able to get another pop-up on the calendar.

BittyCakes friends, I need your help! ❤️

Back in 2018, many of you donated period products through BittyCakes when, alongside an amazing group of Lincoln Elementary PTO moms, we started what would eventually grow into the HOPE Period Pantry.

Today, that pantry serves 30–60 Van Buren County residents each month, but our shelves are running low.

We're currently in need of:
🩷 Thin pads (sizes 1–5)
🩷 Pantyliners
🩷 Monetary donations

You all showed up in an incredible way back then, and I'm hoping we can do it again.

Every month, the HOPE Period Pantry provides free menstrual products to 30–60 Van Buren County residents who may otherwise have to choose between purchasing period products and paying for other basic necessities.

Right now, our greatest needs are:

I want to take a minute to say thank you. I've truly appreciated all of your support while I've been experimenting with new cookie recipes and quick breads. You've been willing to try my new ideas, give honest feedback, and cheer me on every step of the way. It means more than you know. ❤️

As a little thank-you, I'm bringing some of your favorite cupcake flavors back to the porch for this next pop-up! Because let's be honest... cupcakes were my first baking love, and I know a lot of you have been missing them. So this summer, you don't have to choose. You'll find cookies, breads... and cupcakes!

Going forward, I'd love to feature at least four cupcake flavors at every porch pop-up, but I want your help deciding which ones make the menu.

Just a reminder that our **BittyCakes 4th of July Porch Pop-Up** is happening **THIS Friday, July 3rd, from 11 AM–3 PM!** 🧁

This is a **rain-or-shine** event, but the forecast is looking hot, humid, and rainy. 🌧🥵 Because of the weather, preordering or arriving early is strongly recommended! If the heat or storms become too much, we may have to wrap things up before 3 PM for everyone's safety.
