This Week’s Feature at The River Bottom: Ocakbaşı

A celebration of fire, flavor, and tradition.

Our newest feature brings together some of our favorite offerings from the grill: lamb chops, pistachio kebab, chicken wings, chicken souvlaki, and beef souvlaki, all served over seasoned grilled lavash bread with roasted tomatoes, sumac onions, parsley, red cabbage salad, and finished with a drizzle of pomegranate molasses.

Inspired by the Turkish tradition of gathering around the fire, the Ocakbaşı is a true taste of Mediterranean culture. Every bite brings together smoky flavors, fresh ingredients, and the spirit of sharing a meal with family and friends.

This week’s feature celebrates some of the best flavors of the season.

Creamy burrata takes center stage, paired with heirloom tomatoes and our house made honeydew bruschetta, a refreshing blend of sweet honeydew, red onion, fresh basil, and mint. Finished with balsamic glaze, pistachios and served with toasted baguette for the perfect summer bite.

Meet the new fan favorite of The River Bottom - 𝐈𝐳𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐭

These marinated wings hit the grill over open flame and served with harissa for the perfect mix of smoky char, spice, and bold flavor. Since hitting the menu, they’ve been flying out of the kitchen and quickly became one of the most talked about dishes in the building.

Charred, juicy, slightly spicy, and dangerously easy to keep eating.

Safe to say… you guys made this one a hit.
