About Us:
Kiao Wan Authentic Thai Cuisine is a small, authentic Thai restaurant led by Chef June. We serve fresh, made-daily Thai food and are proud to be a welcoming spot for the Mount Holyoke and Five College community.
The Position:
We are looking for dependable student team members to join our friendly kitchen group. Part-time, student-friendly hours. No professional experience required — full training provided.
Knowledge & Skills You’ll Gain With Chef June:
• Authentic Thai cooking techniques — curries, stir-fry, sauces, wok skills
• Professional knife skills and ingredient preparation
• Knowledge of Thai herbs, spices, and traditional ingredients
• Kitchen operations, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Teamwork, time management, and working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Real work experience in a supportive, respectful environment

What You’ll Do:
• Assist with daily prep and cooking alongside Chef June
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
• Work collaboratively as part of a small, close-knit team
• Learn and follow recipes with care

• Able to work at least 2 shifts per week (Wed-Sun)
