Our gardens are coming along! We've planted carrots, arugula, tomatoes, potatoes, zuchini, and so much more to fuel the plates at our cafes and cater the community.

One of our favorite things is watching complete strangers leave here knowing each other’s names.

Community doesn’t always happen with a bag, but when you feel safe enough for that little warmth to come out without a fuss. We hope to be that spot for anyone who needs it.

Are we busy enough running two cafe's and coordinating recovery efforts? NO WAY!

We also do catering on demand, have a series of garden dedicated to lowering costs and raising freshness, while simultaneously recruiting volunteers from the community to keep it all rolling. What have you done this week? ;)

A good cafe exists in the conversations between strangers, familiar faces at the counter, and a place where people can sit without needing to explain a thing. There’s something special about hearing laughter from one table, deep conversation at another, and someone quietly reading in the corner all at once.

Part of our baristas most important duties is making sure the coffee is FRESH. Any time your order anything from Cafe Appalachia it's going to be fresh, but the coffee is the corner stone of any good Cafe.
