It was a time!!! Always fun times and making memories! Thank you to the city for your patience and support! It was hectic but we got through it!!!

Good morning, mi gente!
My heart is full as I look back on this weekend’s celebration of 33 years of the Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County, Inc. What a beautiful reminder of who we are, where we come from, and what we can accomplish when we come together.
From Friday night’s gala, to Saturday’s flag raising, to Sunday’s parade and festival, every moment was filled with pride, joy, and love for our culture. Seeing our community gather, honor our award recipients, wave our beautiful Puerto Rican flag, and celebrate together was truly unforgettable.
This weekend would not have been possible without the dedication of a small but mighty group of volunteers, our generous sponsors, Executive Board, honorees, participants, spectators, first responders, past parade leaders, and our families. Your time, support, and love helped bring this celebration to life, and I am deeply grateful.
As President, I am humbled and proud to serve this organization and our community. I hope our great city felt the love, pride, and unity we poured into this weekend. Now, with grateful hearts, we begin preparing for next year.

¡Buenos días, mi gente!
Mi corazón está lleno de alegría al recordar la celebración de los 33 años del Desfile Puertorriqueño del Condado de Fairfield, Inc. Qué hermoso recordatorio de quiénes somos, de dónde venimos y de todo lo que podemos lograr cuando nos unimos como un solo pueblo.
Desde la gala del viernes por la noche, el izamiento de nuestra bandera el sábado, hasta el desfile y festival del domingo, cada momento estuvo lleno de orgullo, alegría y amor por nuestra cultura. Ver a nuestra comunidad reunirse, reconocer a nuestros homenajeados, ondear con orgullo nuestra hermosa bandera puertorriqueña y celebrar juntos fue verdaderamente inolvidable.
Este maravilloso fin de semana no habría sido posible sin la dedicación de un pequeño pero poderoso grupo de voluntarios, nuestros generosos patrocinadores, la Junta Ejecutiva, los homenajeados, los participantes, los espectadores, los primeros respondedores, los líderes de desfiles anteriores y nuestras familias. Su tiempo, apoyo y cariño hicieron realidad esta gran celebración, y les estoy profundamente agradecida.
Como Presidenta, me siento humilde y profundamente orgullosa de servir a esta organización y a nuestra comunidad. Espero que nuestra gran ciudad haya sentido el amor, el orgullo y la unión que entregamos durante todo este fin de semana. Ahora, con corazones agradecidos, comenzamos a prepararnos para el próximo año.
