I want to personally thank Javon Small of the Memphis Grizzlies for giving Southern Aroma the opportunity to prepare his meal preps! 🏀🔥
It means a lot anytime someone trusts my business with what they’re putting into their body, especially an athlete performing at the highest level. We take pride in providing meals that are flavorful, prepared with care, and made with love every single time.

Good Morning. One of my elders told me something I needed to hear: “Get you some rest. God brought you to it, and He’s going to get you through it.” 🙏🏽
That hit different.
Between the Notre Dame concession stands, the business, the long days, early mornings, pressure, responsibilities, and just life in general, sometimes I get so focused on the next thing that I forget to stop and realize how far God has already brought me.
Everything doesn’t have to be figured out today. Sometimes you have to trust the process, trust what God placed in front of you, do your part, and allow yourself to rest too.
I’m learning that rest doesn’t mean I’m stopping. It means I’m getting ready for what’s next.
God brought me to it. He’ll bring me through it. One day at a time. 🙏🏽💯

Southern Aroma wasn’t built overnight. It was built one plate, one customer, one opportunity, and one day at a time.
The same passion, love, and purpose we started with is the same energy we bring today.

First and foremost, I want to give all glory and thanks to God for guiding me through this journey. I’m truly grateful for every blessing, every lesson, and every opportunity that has come my way.
I want to take a moment to thank my mentors, close friends, and family for the constant support, love, encouragement, and for always having my back. The calls, the advice, the motivation, and the belief in me have meant more than words can explain.
Today was a major milestone for Southern Aroma. I had the opportunity to present at Notre Dame alongside some incredible, well-known vendors, and I’m proud to say it was a huge success. The response was amazing, and they truly loved the food — from the presentation to the flavors, everything represented the hard work, passion, and love that goes into what I do.
This journey hasn’t always been easy, but moments like today remind me why I started. Southern Aroma is built on faith, family, hard work, and cooking with love.
I’m thankful for everyone who has supported the vision, shared a post, bought a plate, encouraged me, or simply believed in what I’m building.
This is only the beginning. More blessings, more growth, and more opportunities ahead. 🙏🏾🔥

One thing about me... I'm gonna wake up before everybody. I'm gonna outwork yesterday's version of myself. While others are sleeping, I'm building. While others are talking, I'm moving.
A lot of people see the results, but they don't see the sacrifice. There will be sleepless nights. There will be early mornings. There will be days you're burnt out, tired, frustrated, and wondering if it's all worth it. But that's part of the journey. Every successful person has had to push through moments when quitting would've been easier.
Success isn't luck—it's consistency, discipline, faith, and refusing to give up when things get hard. The struggle comes with it, but so does the reward. The long nights come with it, but so do the blessings. The sacrifices come with it, but so does the legacy you're building.
I'm not just working for today. I'm building something bigger than me. Something that my family can be proud of. Something that will outlive me.
Stay focused. Stay humble. Stay hungry. Keep showing up. Your future self will thank you for not giving up. 💪🏾🔥
