Just wanted to post a few photos of running into customers I’ve seen since working at my current bartending job. I absolutely LOVE seeing Maxis customers!!! It truly warms my heart. The hardest part of not being at Maxis is truly missing all of you!

Selling our stone wear dishes.
Yes they need a good washing, but they’re still in great shape. Bring me an offer.
We also have glassware, tables and some other items that were salvaged.

Another day , another 64 boxes gone through !
BluSky packaged what they thought was necessary to keep , what a waste of boxes , tape, foam packing , time , labor and money !
Unbelievable !!
BluSky called us to “explain the process “ after the fire , they didn’t quite explain their true process and we were in quite a vulnerable state of mind ….. lesson learned !

It’s been 546 days…
18 months…
Our hearts are still broken.
And we miss you all so so so much!
We received this sweet note and photo from a customer! And it melted our hearts so we thought we’d share it with you 🫶

The stuff kids do….Nola says, I am so sad that Maxi’s isn’t re-opening. And I look back at her with her hand up on the window like she is saying goodbye to a long-lost friend…it was sad, cute and caught me so off guard, that I had to laugh because she is my mini and pretty dramatic. But at the same time, I know she is very sad, but the hand…the hand got me!!! 🥹 Anyway- I HAD to share it with you all!!! We love you!!

If you’ve been at Maxis the last 25+ years, you’ve probably seen a quiet couple in the corner of the bar normally on Saturday nights.
Mike & Phyllis…. her sipping on her CC on the rocks and him his tall CC & 7 with lime.
A soft spoken gentleman who always had a cigar in his pocket.
He was always sweet, and never met a stranger.
Loved his Barn Ham & Cheese…the ham just a little crispy, Deluxe.
We are saddened to share that he lost his battle with cancer. We are saddened with his passing and heartbroken for Phyllis.
Please keep them in your positive thoughts as they navigate this chapter of life.
It’s never easy to say Goodbye… so until we meet again Mikey (aka “Cigar”) 💔💙🚬
