This Thursday, July 16, we will be closed for maintenance.

PUD is switching/upgrading something near the Aquarium. Which will require the power to be off for a little bit in the general area.

So, rather than be closed for half a day. We decided to take the entire day off. Have a great day! :)

Today, 6-22, we are closed due to the building being pressure washed by the Village's maintenance. We cannot have our serving window open during this. So we are taking advantage of a day of rest (aka chores). Have a wonderful day!

The city is proposing to get a trolley and is looking for community input. Including locations for stops. May I request that you suggest the Aquarium Village as a stop. I assume the Oregon Coast Aquarium will be a stop and the village is next to it, so it would not be out of the trolley's way.

COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE

The City of Newport invites community members to an open house to share input on a potential trolley system in Newport. The event will take place Tuesday, June 2, at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, located at 777 W. Olive Street.

The City is exploring a tourist trolley program to make it easier to get around, reduce congestion, and enhance the visitor and local experience. This concept is being evaluated as a system that could connect Newport’s key business districts, operate at a high frequency, and be free or low-cost to use.

The open house will include a brief presentation, opportunities to tour and interact with the Yachats trolley, and a chance for attendees to provide feedback on priority destinations and possible trolley stops throughout the community.

Snacks will be provided, and BayLee’s Pop-Up will be serving custom beverages. RSVPs are encouraged but not required.

Want to see some cute baby goats (orphans) jump on 'our' booths? Stop by the Discovery Petting Zoo at Aquarium Village. And stop by and say hi, we are their business neighbor. We donated some of the booths to them during the move.

Speaking of booths. We have a few of the double sided booths and 4 of the tall stools left in storage. Free for anyone. The booths frames would make good garden beds. The vinyl could be used for a project.

This Friday April 3rd at Aquarium Village in Newport! Come enjoy this family friendly festive outdoor night market showcasing local vendors, art, live music, food and more!

Beer garden on site so you can sip your favorite beverage and shop! Primaltones bar offers a nice selection of beer, wine, cider and non alcoholic options too.

Food service from Flashbacks Fountain and Grill and El Faro Taqueria . We will have a variety of craft vendors set up, and some of the Aquarium Village brick and motor shops will be open too!

Another great reason to come visit Newport. Come check out all the daytime sights and sounds of the area and then cap off the evening at out our unique, family friendly market!

Live music with: Skyler And The Sketchy Kids! Led by powerhouse frontman Skyler Squglio (Free Creatures), the band blends tight musicianship with infectious rhythms, sharp songwriting that keeps the crowd locked in from start to finish. They will be playing from 7-9pm inside Primaltones followed by Open mic/karaoke afterwards!

Night Market is located in Aquarium Village on the north end of the main business boulevard.
