Summer didn’t get the memo that it’s still spring, but we’re ready for it. Temps are hitting the 80s this weekend, so we made you a chilled asparagus + celery root soup to keep you from melting — delta asparagus, local celery root, leeks, and fennel, purĂ©ed until silky, finished with a spoonful of labneh and our house shatta: a Lebanese herb-and-chili condiment brightened with preserved lemon. Gluten-free and vegan optional.
Cool soup. Hot weekend. Come get it.

It’s soup weather!

We had beautiful leeks and fennel from .sonoma, so we made an allium soup—leeks, onions, and fennel slowly melted down with cinnamon and rosemary in a bright sumac broth. Finished with a dollop of labneh and a sprinkle of fresh chives. I think this might be my new favorite soup!
