Introducing Rosa y Marigold, un nuevo proyecto de la familia Celeste/Esmeralda/La Royal!! Gracias and for so beautifully capturing the essence of who we are and what it’s all about. Many know we started as a five-year-experiment, but almost seven years later, we’re about to open our fourth project!!! What began as a dream of two of us has become a life-long project alongside a beautiful team we call familia, and as continues creating magic with Peruvian flavors, and the spaces we create become integral to each neighborhood, we recognize that none of it would be possible without our team. Today, beyond exciting, it’s truly moving we can include Jose Saravia as a Partner in this new adventure (Joselin, as we call him, was Celeste’s very first employee, who started as dishwasher, and is now our right-hand-man at both locations).
Each new project has been prompted by a drive to explore and share something new, always bound by the idea of coming together in a space that feels like home, where art, music and food all play first-fiddle. This new project is no exception, inspired by our dear friend, the late poet Louise Glück, who dedicated her last novel, Marigold and Rose, with the inscription “endless, boundless, gratitude and love”.
