Day dreaming about Italy and its unbelievable food and wines. Might just have to hop on a plane and go get it! 🍝🤌🇮🇹

But probably a better idea to stay put for now and start working on our weekend specials and finish setting up our pretty patio! 💪

🌡Weekend forecast: 100% chance of tasty SPECIALS!!!
❗️Gear up!!!! It's raining with flavor!!! 😁🍴 ⬇️

🍳Huevos divorciados: housemade chorizo on lightly fried corn tortillas, two sunny side up eggs, one topped with salsa roja while the other one topped with salsa verde, fresh cilantro, pickled jalapenos and crumbled queso fresco, served with refried beans and a side of guacamole.
🌯Loco burrito: housemade chorizo with scrambled eggs, pepperjack cheese, fajita veggies and spinach inside a grilled flour tortilla, corazon style (topped with cheese, your choice of rojas or verdes sauce and broiled), served with a side of refried beans and guacamole.
🧇Coconut waffle: house waffle topped with toasted coconut flakes, shaved mexican chocolate, whipped cream and salted caramel drizzle.

This weekend’s specials are bringing BIG flavor! 🥣
Come hungry...and maybe wear those stretchy pants, just in case! 👀⬇️

⚡️Congee: a popular chinese breakfast staple consisting of brothy velvety rice topped with soft boiled eggs, roasted chinese style pork ribs, pickled carrots, scallions, chilli crisp oil, fried wonton, black sesame seeds and crushed peanuts.
⚡️Shanghai omelette: grilled chinese sausage, onions and pickled carrot inside our three egg omelette, topped with a chinese bbq mayo, scallion and black sesame seeds, served with rice and crushed wonton.
⚡️Hong Kong waffle: our house waffle topped with a browned butter peanut sauce, black sesame seeds, crushed peanuts and whipped cream.

"...you probably never heard of it. It's a great place to be. All the trees you could climb in a lifetime, streams with fish in them that run behind your house wherever you are and in the fall...you couldn't believe the beauty. It's like God invented new colors just for the occasion." 🌱🌳📚💛😊🌻

This may not be the misterious Crabapple Cove but we sure love our Somersworth and its people!🫂

⬇️Here's something you're going to love!! :D

🫶LaGrassa's Bene: house smoked pastrami on marbled rye with caramelised onions, melted swiss, poached eggs, mustard hollandaise and carraway seeds, served with home fries.

🫶Sally's sammie: house smoked pastrami on untoasted marbled rye with melted swiss and spicy brown mustard, served with fries, sour dill pickles and sliced pickled green tomatoes.

🫶Lemon Berry pancakes: house lemon ricotta pancakes filled with mixed berries, topped with whipped cream and strawberry syrup.

Ok..Who else loves pastrami here?
Always been a big fan and couldn't seem to get it off my mind since visited NYC Katz's deli a few weeks ago on kids school vacation. They blew it out of the park, plus it's history and vibe made it all worth it. Another favorite is Sam LaGrassa's in Boston! Go try their pastrami traveler sammie!
I guess the way the legend goes, pastrami made it's way to America via jewish eastern european immigrants in NYC that transformed an old smoked goose recipe into what pastrami is today! I say kudos to them cause i freakin love it!!
Now that being said, stay tuned for what our specials are gonna look like this weekend..Maybe we can't beat Katz's or LaGrassa's but we'll sure give them a good run for their money!!
