We had some special visitors stop by the restaurant Monday! Given it’s the Thanksgiving season we wanted to take this opportunity to show some thanks!!
First big thanks to State Rep Justin Thurber, Selectman Jamison Souza, as well as Paul Cogley and Heather Robertson from The Somerset Economic Committee, and The Somerset Sentinel for stopping by Monday and showing us some love!
We’ve all heard the expression “it takes a village” I think that can also be used when you’re talking about small businesses because without the support of the locals you have no chance of making it. We’ve always had great local support going back to 2016 when we were just a little ole catering and event company trying to get our name out there. I always say I have the best customers. Over the years we’ve served 1000’s of people and the amount of difficult customers (or Karen’s as they’re called out in the wild 😝) has been nearly zero. While I don’t always make it up front to greet and speak with everyone, I’m never disappointed when I do. This industry is not easy. It’s a non stop roller coaster ride. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been having a s**t day and one customer can totally turn that around. The little things like being appreciative to your server, giving a compliment from a past visit, leaving a review, or just reaching out privately and saying hey that meal was great can really make a difference in someone’s day! So to those peeps, keep being you!
They say tomorrow isn’t promised. So while I have no way of knowing what the future holds for myslef and The Bearded Chicken what I can do is be thankful for the past. So to all my family, friends, and customers….
THANK YOU!!! 🐔 ❤️
