Summer has arrived to Soldotna! With the influx of folks onto the Peninsula, we want to share some helpful reminders and tips for dining out this summer:

🌸 Yes, we take reservations, and yes, they are always appreciated! For the size of our restaurant, our kitchen and the lovely humans preparing your dinner, is pretty darn small, and everything is made from scratch. The more time we have to know you’re coming, the better we can plan out and maximize faster service for you! And if you would prefer to sit in certain sections, just let us know ahead of time; we always do our best to take preferences into account when scheduling reservations.

🌸 Just because we have empty tables or barstools, does not mean they are available! We want to seat as many folks as we can, but we also want to make sure we give the best service we can! And yes, that goes for outdoor seating, too.

🌸 If we are out of a certain menu item, we apologize profusely! Not only are we dealing with a short staffed prep and line crew, we sometimes just can’t get certain ingredients in. We do our best to predict what is going to be popular every night, but we are still working on our mind-reading skills😜

🌸 If your meal is taking a bit, we promise we haven’t forgotten about you! Every dish is made fresh for every table, and that takes time. We will try our best to communicate long kitchen times, but please don’t take it out on the staff. We are working as fast as we can!

🌸 And last, but not certainly least, be kind. We know you are hungry. We know you’ve had a long day out in the Midnight Sun. We know you’ve been in the car awhile. But our staff are still humans, and a little grace goes a long way! Let’s treat one another with the same respect we would expect in return❤️
