It is with great regret that I am making this post, but I wanted everyone to hear about this from me. I put this off as long as I could. I am putting the Belly View trailer up for sale, I will still be doing catering and some events. I'm not sure how long it takes to sell a food trailer, but I think it might take a while. Our sales have been down all year, we do ok at events, but not enough to cover the bills, it's time to be realistic and move on. I didn't expect to make a million dollars doing this, but I thought we could survive. I could run with cheaper ingredients and just try to make it work, but that was never the point. I wanted to make good food and try to keep it affordable, but the economy just didn't cooperate. I like to cook, but I really love cooking for others. This was a great experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Working so close with my wife and the kids has been something I will always cherish, the memories of all my grandkids coming to Papa's food truck. So many awesome people stopping in and getting food. It was worth all the late nights at the smoker. And dealing with never-ending lines of hungry people at some of the events. I will definitely miss this. I hope that we made a positive impact on the community and that we will be missed. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, I enjoyed cooking for all of you. Please keep any negative comments to yourselves at this time, I'm not really up to playing right now. Sorry for the extremely long post, but I kind of needed to say this all at once. Thanks again for everyone's support. Robert
