THE BROTHERS BEHIND AMORE 🇮🇹❤️
Lamar & Vinny.
Two brothers. Two completely different personalities. One family, one vision, and a whole lot of years spent building Amore together.
If you’ve been around Amore long enough, you probably already know how this works…
Lamar runs the front of the house. He’s the personality, the hospitality, the guy making his rounds talking to tables and making sure everyone feels at home. He can be an as***le 😂, he’ll tell you exactly what he thinks whether you asked or not, but underneath all of that is one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever find. He genuinely cares about our guests, our employees, and this business.
Then there’s Vinny, usually somewhere in the back making sure everything actually works. 😂 From the kitchen and food to staffing, numbers, operations, new ideas, menus, specials, and figuring out whatever problem decided to show up that day — if there are 100 things happening behind the scenes, he’s probably involved in 99 of them.
We definitely don’t agree on everything. We’ve argued, gotten mad at each other, driven each other absolutely crazy, and probably threatened to fire each other more times than we can count. 😂
But that’s also what makes it work.
Where one of us is weak, the other is strong. Where one sees things one way, the other sees them completely differently. And somewhere in the middle, we usually figure it out.
Amore has never just been a restaurant to us.
It’s years of sacrifice, missed holidays, late nights, early mornings, stressful weeks, great nights, bad nights, employees who became family, customers who became friends, and memories we’ll carry with us forever.
There have been plenty of times when things weren’t easy. But through every challenge, every mistake, every win and every lesson, we kept showing up.
Because at the end of the day, before we’re business partners, we’re brothers.
We can fight with each other all day long, but when it comes down to it, there isn’t anybody we’d rather have standing beside us.
We’re proud of what Amore has become, but even more excited about where we’re taking it next.
