Always amazing to run into a legend. Everett was one of the people that inspired Gwyn and George to live the on mountain restaurant life. It was so great to see him celebrating his birthday!

This is a great look back. We are missing the mountain and the people very much! May this season bring many mornings of fresh tracks and Champagne powder.

“Snowmass skiers high on High Alpine,” The Aspen Times proclaimed on Jan. 10, 1980. “George and Gwyn Gordon are offering an alternative to ‘the hamburger joint on the mountain with posters on the wall.’ “The...

His iconic smile, stories and presence will be missed by the Gwyn’s family. We were blessed to have him in our lives along with the countless people he inspired, hired and entertained nightly. Some of our favorite memories, birthdays and employee parties were captured just in front of his piano endlessly entertained and forever inspired by his musical and lyrical genius. Thank you Mead. There is no doubt you are entertaining up in the Heavens. Diane Metcalf we love you and are sending all our love your way.🥂

There are certain people who come into your life and are immediately family. Marsha was an incredible part of the Gwyn’s family and we will miss her so much. We are certain she is dancing in Heaven and handing out Lemonciello shots as we speak. She was so vibrant, loving and a sheer force of nature. She was there with us from the beginning and we are all better people for knowing her. Just thinking of her will always make us smile.

One of our favorite traditions at Gwyn’s was Christmas Breakfast with the Ski Patrol, cat drivers and staff. It was our earliest morning of the year to get things ready but our best Christmas memories happened right here.

It's a beautiful Christmas Morning with sun in the forecast. Today we will be hosting our 34th annual Christmas Breakfast for the Snowmass Patrol and support staff. Thank you to all of you who have been a part of our family for all these years. Soups today are Creamy Tomato and Artichoke Heart and Christmas Chicken and Barley.

Steve was part of the fabric of Gwyn's and spent countless meals sitting with Sandy at Table One. They spent so many there in fact, that they had their names on a golden placard on the side of the table. His stories, laughter and hugs will be missed. Thank you for being a part of our family. Sending so much love to Sandy.
