Store Update

Hello everyone! 👋

Food Rite Grocery side and Deli will remain closed for the rest of week while renovations are in progress.

We are open for Gas and Beer, Wine & liquor next door. To pump gas, you can use your cards at the pumps, or if you need to come inside, to pay with cash or card please use the liquor store entrance on the right side of the building.

Earlier, we had to close one side of the pumps temporarily so our crew could safely complete concrete work and work on painting the canopy. Both sides of the pumps are now open! ⛽️

⚠️ Please drive slowly and carefully as you approach the pumps. There is still concrete work and digging taking place, and we want to keep our customers and hardworking crew safe.

Food Rite 2.0 Is Coming! ❤️🏪

To our wonderful Snow Hill community,

As many of you have noticed, we have officially started the much-awaited grand renovations of your beloved community store — Snow Hill Food Rite!

We’re excited to begin this journey toward Food Rite 2.0 — a refreshed, updated, safer, and more welcoming store for our entire community.

To make this happen the right way, Food Rite will temporarily close next week as we complete an important phase of the renovations. The safety of our customers, employees, and community is always our top priority, and some of this work simply cannot be done safely while the store is open.

Please also keep in mind that the store will need to close a few additional times over the next three months as we move through different phases of the renovation. Each closure is another small step toward bringing Food Rite 2.0 to life. Project is slated to be fully completed by end of November 2026.

We know these temporary closures may be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. ❤️

This is more than just a renovation — it’s an investment in our community and in the future of a store that so many of you have made part of your daily lives.
We can’t wait to share the transformation with you over the coming months and welcome you into the new Food Rite 2.0!

Update!!

Barring any unforeseen issues, we are planning to keep the gas pumps open during the upcoming work. For customers who need to pay for gas with cash, we are also working to set up a gas payment/control station inside the liquor store to make things as convenient as possible.
