After trying once again to bring The Empanada Sonata back, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to let it go for good.

The support and interest simply aren’t there at the level we need to keep going, and without a storefront, we’re unable to sustain being open 5–7 days a week the way we would need to in order to make this work.

This has been incredibly hard for me to let go of. I’ve fought the inevitable for a long time because The Empanada Sonata has meant so much to me. But sometimes letting go doesn’t mean you failed—it simply means the season has come to an end, and I truly believe God has another plan.

To every single LOYAL customer who supported us, ordered from us, shared our posts, told your friends about us, and continued to root for us—THANK YOU. 💕

I can walk away knowing that I never gave up. I tried. I fought for it. And although it didn’t work out the way I hoped, I will always be proud of what we accomplished.

One of my childhood dreams was to own a food truck and a restaurant, and God allowed me to live that dream. For that, I will always be grateful.

Everything has a season, and this one has come to an end.

A QUICK UPDATE FROM THE EMPANADA SONATA ❤️

Recently, we tried to reactivate our Google business listing and update it with the address of the kitchen we are currently renting for our scheduled takeout pickups. Unfortunately, Google will not allow me to update the listing to our current kitchen address, and it has created a lot of confusion.

We’ve received so many calls and messages asking, “Where are you located?” “Are you open?” and “Why can’t we order?” I sincerely apologize to anyone who has been confused by the information showing on Google.

The truth is, we still do not have a permanent restaurant location. We are currently renting a kitchen for our scheduled Hot Drops and takeout pickups while we work toward reopening our permanent location.

I have been trying repeatedly to get the address corrected on Google, but getting in touch with an actual person has been extremely difficult. Most of the process is automated, and I have not been able to get the assistance I need to update the listing correctly.

Unfortunately, today someone left us a 2-star review because they couldn’t find us. I completely understand how frustrating that can be, and I’m sincerely sorry. All I’m asking for is a little grace while I try to get this situation corrected.

Rebuilding The Empanada Sonata has been a process, and I’m doing my best to navigate all of these moving pieces while we work toward having a permanent home again.

For now, PLEASE do not rely on Google for our location, hours, or ordering availability. Our social media pages will always have the correct information regarding Hot Drops, ordering, pickup dates, times, and locations.

I will continue trying to resolve the issue with Google. If I simply cannot get the listing corrected, I may have no choice but to mark the current listing permanently closed and start fresh with a new one once we have our permanent location.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, order from us, share our posts, and give us grace while we rebuild. It truly means more than you know. ❤️
