This past Saturday, we had the privilege of being a small part of so many special celebrations—birthdays, weddings, and the welcoming of precious new babies—with our cakes and cake squares.

But these two customers came in wanting to celebrate something a little different: they wanted to simply praise God for all He has done. And we couldn’t agree more!

Today and every day, we have so much to praise Him for—His mercy, His faithfulness, His grace, and His countless blessings.

Howard and Carolyn McEntyre on their wedding day in 1947 (Smyrna First Baptist Church). Carolyn stood behind the counter and was the face of the business for decades. Little did they know 79 years later their great granddaughter - Margaret Carolyn McEntyre (“Maggie”) - would be behind the counter greeting the 5th generation of customers. People ask how do you get a business to last almost 80 years? Only by the provision of a generous and faithful God who sees fit to sustain it every day.
