That first pepperoni pizza that comes out of the oven is the only pizza we smell all day. By the time the rest come out our noses have completely become desensitized. Its the one time of the day we can share that awesome smell of baked bread and toppings yall get when yall come up to the window.

Sorry for the posting drought folks. We were experiencing a little case of burnout and media and extracurricular projects were the first to be sacrificed to get our heads back in the game. I love posting and sharing our adventures, just needed some time to breath and come back to center.

Hope yall have a great end of week and if you want to come see us we will be here everyday through Monday 12-8!

Hope yall are having a blessed day out there! Lunch was crazy today yall! We may not last until 8, if you need to satisfy the pizza itch today get it in sooner than later! Will post again if we run out of dough.

Sorry if I missed any of yall on the phones tonight! Samantha took a much needed personal day and went to the waterpark with our daughter, so I was sailing a solo ship today. Thanks for keeping me busy for dinner yall!

Good morning! As we get our gears turning to start our week, we hope you are having a good wind down to yours!

We are a little bit late to the posting party, we got nominated in a few categories in Bastrop County Best! Since we only got started here in May it certainly feels like a dream to even be included. Thanks so much to those who nominated us and throw a vote our way. Honestly we are just happy to be here and have our name on the list. This journey has been a wild ride so far, full of a hurricane of work and emotions as we go along. Small acts of kindness like throwing our name on a list go a long way for us.

Thanks for another great week Smithville! It ended with a bit of a whisper but hey, we take lemons and turn them into picnic tables. We added another one today!

Ever wonder what our favorite pizza is? The Marley's Mainsail holds the title. The toppings come together by hitting all the different buds. Pepperoni hits salty, jalapeños hit spicy, and then the pineapple comes in with a little sweet to cool off the spice.

We always like to switch it up to explore new pizzas but this one holds the title!

We are back and ready for another week of shelling out pizzas folks! The gears are turning and the oven is running ablaze.

You know what's crazy, today marks the end of the second month of operation! Where has the time gone?! If we were to put this month's summary into a few words they would be "work work work". Didnt get many moments to slow down this month, so we took yesterday to breathe and decided the last of the picnic tables could wait. We have been doing some planning on our next steps though while being busy all of the time. Touching up the place with paint, getting signage for the roadside, getting tunes for outside seating, decorating our outside area to make it feel more homie. Lots of stuff on the docket.

Have we mentioned how incredible this journey has been though(Im sure we have). Its still crazy to us that a year ago this all wasn't in the cards and we weren't sure what our next steps would be. It may not be leap year for everyone else but it sure has been for us, leaping into this business has been life changing. Love that so many are sharing this journey with us by keeping track of our progress!

This storm looks pretty cool from the shop. Hope yall brought umbrellas! At least if you are picking up pizza we have nice coverage to keep you dry. Last 4 hour hours to snag a pie before we go on break for the week! Have a great midweek yall!
