Raising our family in this rural community has been a true blessing. Our daughter, Anna Jo, has worked hard to raise healthy loved chickens and sustain them as much as possible off our land. She also has a passion for gluten free baking. Since going gluten free herself years ago, she knows how difficult it can be to find delicious gluten free baked goods readily available. Her ultimate dream is to

own a local business in Smithsburg MD where she can sell her baked goods and farm raised eggs. All baked goods are processed under Washington County's Cottage Food Business LIcense- WA-2149.

Our hens are cage free (free range when safe)- raised on a local Smithsburg 4 acre home site. Our girls eat bugs, worms (anything they can catch) and NON-GMO scratch-grains (from local Clear Spring farm). Our girls lay mostly brown eggs but we do have several Easter Eggers that will lay multi-color....

GOODBYE TANK!!! My mini coop!!! I got the call yesterday- he’s totaled
A lady had swerved into me a few weeks back and dented my front/side bumper and broke my light- thought it was going to be an easy fix
But too much was wrong to save him ☹️
