We have had a lot of questions about gas prices in general lately, and have had many people call the store "shopping around" for gas prices.

We price our fuel only a few cents per gallon above what our actual cost is.

Despite that, there are many other gas stations slightly cheaper than we are.

Why?!

Because they are larger companies who are able to get better deals on fuel due to the quantities they purchase, while we are limited in both tank space and budget for what we are able to purchase at any given time.

In an effort to help the community as much as we can, our profit on our gas sales is kept as low as possible, and barely covers the cost of our electric bill each month.

This is not a complaint, but rather is just transparency and us doing our part to help out as much as we can.

If you need to save every little bit because money is tight, please do what you need to for you and your family!

However, the reality is that an extra $0.10 per gallon to fill up your 20 gallon tank at ARKS MART LLC only costs an extra $2.00 per fillup and helps us to (quite literally) keep the lights on!

We are proud of what we are accomplishing in Livingston County at ARKS MART LLC and are grateful for the support from the community!
Minor correction to the story:
I still maintain my role with MCSO, and am supremely grateful for the compassion and understanding that has been shown to me by my coworkers and superiors following my heart attack!
I am simply on leave following the heart attack, and I look forward to being able to return to MCSO on modified duty in June!

A former patrol supervisor with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office and his wife have taken up the endeavor of bringing an old business and Livingston County staple back to life,

Less than 24 hours until our grand reopening celebration!!!
The most common question so far:
How cheap will gas be?!

Let's keep it a little but if a surprise until tomorrow, but we'll put it this way:
When we price fuel, it's only marked up a few cents per gallon over our actual cost (we promise we're not the ones lining our pockets off the price of fuel, although someone obviously is, but that's a conversation for a different day).

Fuel prices tomorrow will be well under what we paid for it.

This means we will be LOSING money on every single fuel sale between 11am-4pm; and we hope we lose a LOT of money tomorrow from everyone showing up getting fuel and food!
