We are at the Delmar Farmers Market on Saturdays 9AM-1PM. We are a multi-generational family business serving the Capital Region. Dumpling making is a family tradition we treasure. The combination of freshly rolled dumpling skins and savory filling has always had a lasting impression on guests in our home. We decided it was time that we share our homemade goodness with a wider audience and invite

you to be a part of this culinary experience. Our dumplings are individually handmade and we preserve the flavor by immediately freezing them to make each delicious bite available to you in your own kitchen and at your convenience. We hope that these mouthwatering bundles bring you joy from our family to yours. Our products are made at a commercial kitchen in Greenville, NY and online orders are available for pick up at our location in Slingerlands, NY.

Soak up the sun and enjoy good food at the market this weekend Delmar Farmers Market (7/11, 9am-1pm)! We will be serving our delicious Classic Pork Dumplings and seasonal Chive & Egg Dumplings. Our Taiwanese Braised Beef Baos were a hit and sold out a few weeks ago so we are bringing them back in hopes that more of you can try them. For our special this week, we have a dish spicy lovers will appreciate - Kimchi Chicken Fried Rice! Finish off your lunch with a slice of our creamy Matcha Cherry Basque Cheesecake made with housemade jam.

Happy Thursday! We look forward to seeing your sunny faces in store today!

You might have noticed that our Greens Potato Pancakes are no longer on our menu. Mae-Yee, who in addition to being a wonderful vegan chef, is also an avid gardener. She generously shared her green garlic harvest with us last month, but due to the short season they are available, we made a small swap in our small eats offerings.

For July, we are serving Kimchi Jeon, which is a Korean style pancake made with our traditional slow fermented housemade kimchi. The savory jeon is crispy on the outside, tender in the center, and spicy and tangy in flavor. Kimchi Jeon is a beloved homey dish that is a favorite in Korean households.

Michelle makes some of the best kimchi we have ever had and its strong flavor makes for a great ingredient in dishes like the Kimchi Jeon and in the fried rice we will be bringing to market this Saturday!

Our housemade traditional kimchi uses the whole cabbage leaf. To make this kimchi we first soak the cabbage in a sea salt brine to soften the leaves. Then we spread housemade spicy paste on each leaf by hand. Afterwards, lactobacillus bacteria change the sugar into lactic acid, which preserves the cabbage and changes the flavor slowly and fermenting over time in the fridge. See the images of our step by step process to making kimchi!

The whole process of kimchi making takes course over a week from preparing to storing. We then give the kimchi time to ferment and develop in flavor before it is ready to use for our menu's side dish, recipes, and jarring in bulk sizes. You can taste the labor of love in every bite!

July 4th weekend is traditionally a BBQ affair so of course we're frying up sizzling pans of our customer favorite Cheeseburger Dumplings this Saturday, 9am-1pm! What's more, it's a gua bao weekend so be sure to catch our popular steamed bun sandwiches with gochujang lime chicken or vegan braised tofu. We are bringing some fabulous vegan and gluten-free desserts - yuzu custard and blueberry tarts and hojicha chocolate mousse!

We met Anthony and Julia of Sprouting Heart Farm at the Delmar Farmers Market and appreciated their passion and knowledge of all things farming. They in turn enjoyed our vegan dumplings and baos! Three years ago, we started using Thai basil in more and more of our dishes but struggled to find sufficient quality fresh produce. When we approached our friends to see if they would be able to grow some for us, Anthony and Julia gamely took on the challenge despite how finnicky basil can be. We are grateful for their green thumbs and ability to coax life from the soil and last week, we were blessed with an armful of their hard work.

The first crop of Thai basil we received was immediately put to use to create a batch of a summer favorite dumpling - Chicken & Thai Basil. These will be available in frozen dumpling packs in our freezer at the storefront starting this week. We love when we can join hands with other small businesses and local farms to make our food even better!

July Dumpling & Bao Flavors Refreshed!

Changing our dumpling and bao flavors monthly is designed so that we can manageably rotate through our repertoire of over a dozen dumpling flavors. Furthermore, switching monthly means we can accommodate different flavor and dietary preferences/needs. This method also allows us to embrace seasonal shifts and procure essential produce at its prime. We hope that while you may love certain flavors, you will enjoy trying different ones throughout the year from our dynamic menu.

For July, we have the return of a BBQ favorite, Cheeseburger Dumplings, served with our house secret sauce (aka Boom Sauce). Classic Chicken and Curry Vegan are also back on the menu as options for dumplings. Our monthly steamed buns are now the popular Hot Korean Chicken Bao and sweet and texturally delightful Taro & Mochi Bao. Summer is a playful season and we think you will find these flavors enjoyable to explore!

Introducing ๐Ÿฅ (ใฃโ—”โ—กโ—”)ใฃ๐Ÿ ๐™‹๐™„๐™‰๐™€๐˜ผ๐™‹๐™‹๐™‡๐™€ ๐™Ž๐™ƒ๐™Š๐™๐™๐˜พ๐˜ผ๐™†๐™€! This ice cream is a play on one of Taiwanโ€™s most iconic desserts - Taiwanese pineapple cake or Feng Li Su (้ณณๆขจ้…ฅ). The base is a creamy custard with swirls of buttery shortbread crumbles and housemade pineapple jam sweetened with honey. Celebrate the end of school and launch into summer mode with us! This market, June 27th (9am-1pm), be the first to try our brand new bao - Taiwanese Braised Beef - inspired by the spices of Taiwanese beef noodle soup! We will also have Bulgogi Beef Rice Bowls with housemade kimchi as our special. The silky "egg" custard tarts with creamy taro paste are a delicious textural experience not to be missed! Bibimbap is a core Korean dish and literally translated as "Bibim" meaning "mixed" and "Bap" meaning "rice." This colorful harmonious bowl of flavors is presented with distinct ingredients but is intended to be heartily stirred up and enjoyed in blended mouthfuls of rice, veggies, protein, and sauce. Bibimbap is refreshing, nutritious, and filling!

We have made our version gluten-free with your choice of protein (+ a vegan option). We hope you give bibimbap a go this summer!

โ„๏ธ COLD with Ice cream!
The beautiful hot weather has kept our ice cream in short supply! Our June flavors have both been so popular that we are having to make more each week to keep up with demand. We won't complain though because we completely agree with you that both โ˜•๐Ÿฅ›Cool Beans (Coffee & Sweet Cream with Biscoff Cookies) and ๐Ÿ‹๐ŸซSunshine & Blue Skies (Yuzu & Blueberry Jam Swirls) are incredible!

However, June is nearly over and that means these flavors will be wrapping up soon! We have made one final batch of each ice cream ๐Ÿจ (available while supplies last). Be sure to try them or stock up before they're gone!

We are so grateful for the dads in our lives and if your own is a foodie, be sure to celebrate Delmar Farmers Market this Saturday, 6/20 (9am-1pm) with some delicious eats for brunch or for later! This is our FINAL week for our sticky rice dumplings (zรฒngzi) and we have the return of our popular Lunar Dumplings and seasonal Chive & Egg Dumplings (made with eggs from Eastern NY ~ Organic & Pasture Meats and our homegrown chives).
