Even as the heavens cry with us today, it is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of a devastating motorcycle accident last night that took the lives of our beloved Emerald and one of our cherished patrons, Eric.
At just 29 years old, Emerald wore so many hats—a devoted mother to her young daughter, a loving daughter, a fiercely talented bartender, and a deeply loyal friend. For 8 ½ years, she was a cornerstone of Sheryl’s Club. She was kind, caring, compassionate, and an incredible server who had a rare gift for holding space for anyone who sat in beside her or pulled up a stool at the copper top.
We know so many of you are hurting, looking for answers, and trying to process this immense loss. Right now, more than anything, both of their families and loved ones need our prayers, love, and support. Please keep Emerald’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers alongside Eric’s as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy. Everyone grieves differently, and we ask that our community comes together to lean on and love one another through this pain. ✝️
Life is so incredibly precious, and losing them both is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly everything can change. We know they are angels watching over us now, and they will be deeply missed.
Sheryl’s Club will be closed today as we process this grief. We will reopen tomorrow for the dawn of a new day, knowing Emerald’s spirit and bright energy will always be here in the place she gave so much of her heart to. 🤍
Information regarding a GoFundMe link to support Emerald’s young daughter will be shared in an update soon.
Rest in peace, Emerald Tingue and Eric. You will be deeply, profoundly missed, but never forgotten. ❤️🕊️
