Nobody tells you how much grieving is involved in leaving a career. So I'll go first: it was terrifying.

Fifteen years in film. And walking away wasn't one big brave moment. It was months of processing, second guessing, and doing math on the ceiling at 2am. A true journey, and not the fun montage kind.

But I'm here on the other side to tell you it was worth it.

Yes, the stress is constant. Yes, there are loans to pay off. Yes, I have a million decisions to make, all of them due yesterday. And no, I have not seen the bottom of my inbox since spring.

But you know what? It's all mine. All of it. The stress, the decisions, the inbox. Every creative call, every operational one, mine to make. If that's not freedom, I don't know what is.

So this is your sign. Dream big. Take the leap. Not because it's easy. Because you're worth the bet 💛
