Kudos to you Willmont Saloon No. 7. Everyone should work behind the scenes or work in a restaurant & maybe they would have a little bit more compassion & understanding. Some people dont understand you give up your life day in & day out to try to do your best.

💭 Just a little food-for-thought…

As I sit here reflecting on hearing a customer say they’ll “never go back” to “said restaurant” because their food took too long, nobody came back to check on them, or their meal just wasn’t what they expected that particular night…

I get it. We’ve all had those experiences. But before we judge a small local business, remember there’s probably a whole lot happening behind the scenes that you don’t see..

Maybe they’re short-staffed. Maybe they’re training someone new. Maybe it was one of those completely unpredictable, slammed nights. Or maybe… your tastebuds are just different than someone else’s. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Every restaurant has days or nights where things don’t go perfectly (I know we’ve had them). It’s no different than going to the grocery store, seeing a long line and only two cashiers working… yet we still go back the next week. 😉

So, please, give your local restaurants another chance—or two—before writing them off or bad-mouthing them. Word of mouth is still a very powerful tool and can be detrimental to anybody or any place ❤️

And if something isn’t right, PLEASE tell your server or bartender. We genuinely want to make it right when we can.

I always say, “We can’t fix what we don’t know!”

Support local. Be patient. Give grace. And remember there are real people behind every small business just trying their best. ❤️🍻
