💙 In Loving Memory of Linda Loftis 💙

The Skiatook Police Department is deeply saddened by the passing of Linda Loftis, a remarkable leader, devoted public servant, and one of Skiatook’s greatest champions.

Linda dedicated her life to serving others. As a member of the Skiatook City Council, with a term which was set to expire in April 2027, she worked tirelessly to make our community stronger, safer, and better for everyone. Her unwavering support for public safety and first responders never went unnoticed. She was always one of our department’s biggest advocates and a constant source of encouragement.

Linda’s commitment to Skiatook reached far beyond public office. In 2006, she was honored with “Linda Loftis Day” on January 20 in recognition of her hard work, dedication, commitment, contributions, achievements, and the positive influence she had on the citizens of Skiatook.

For more than 40 years, Linda helped families achieve their dreams through real estate, earning numerous leadership awards throughout her career. She also generously gave her time and talents to organizations that strengthened Skiatook, serving in leadership roles with the Skiatook Chamber of Commerce and working tirelessly to support local businesses and our community.

Linda’s legacy is one of selfless service, kindness, leadership, and an unwavering love for Skiatook. She leaves behind a community that is stronger because of her dedication and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

The Skiatook Police Department extends our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, fellow council members, and everyone whose lives she touched.

Thank you, Linda, for your unwavering dedication to Skiatook. Your service, your compassion, and your friendship will never be forgotten.
