Backwoods Sugar Shack The Backwoods Sugar Shack is a family production owned and operated by Mike and Stephanie Vaughn Rockafellow.

We have produced Michigan's finest pure maple syrup since 2008. We also have raw honey, homemade jams and maple candies. Backwoods Sugar Shack is a family Maple Syrup and Honey farm run by Cody Rockafellow, and originally started in 2008, and then greatly expanded production in 2017.

It is actually owned by our kids (all under 25). They bought the bakery from the previous owners 1.5 years ago. Please share this post and send them some love, better yet, go there and support their dream!

This week, Friday and Saturday, South Haven Harborfest, next Saturday Canadian Lakes. We are taking the 4th of July weekend off then onto Lavenderfest in Milan on July 11 and 12. Hope to see you there!
